The Top-up program is a degree conversion program that enables students who has HND qualifications to convert their HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) qualification to a Degree (B.Sc).

The program is being held in YABATECH and is organised by FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, OYE EKITI (FUOYE).

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME

- To Provide suitable academic programmes that would facilitate conversion from HND to a University Degree Certification.

- Make available contents and instructions that would upgrade the quality of University Degree from Third Class and/or Pass

- Facilitate University education, that will lead to change of Degree/Career, where necessary.

- Bring in Academic level ground for Degree inequality.

WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?

1. University Graduates with a Pass or Third class Degree 

2. HND graduate desirable of a University First Degree 

3. Graduate with interest in career changes (e.g Graduate of Chemistry wishing to change career to Accounting, etc.)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Candidates must posses a minimum of five (5) Olevel Subjects at credit level in relevant subjects to their proposed program at not more than two (2) sittings. 

In addition a minimum of Third Class Honours or Pass Degree or HND certificate from a recognized institution is required for conversion program.

NT:  English and Mathematics is compulsory for all candidates and A Completion or Exemption Certificate from the Mandatory National Youth Service Coprs (NYSC) Scheme.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME

Two (2) years of Six (6) Semesters; 15 weeks per semester. Subject to the management decision.

LECTURE PERIOD

Lectures shall take place during weekends.
