The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar has approved the appointment of Barr. Jonas Abuo as the substantive Head of Legal Unit of the University of Calabar.
Prior to his present appointment, Barr Jonas Abuo has been the acting Head of the Legal Unit.
An appointment letter conveyed and signed by the registrar of the University, Mr. Gabriel O. Egbe indicates that the appointment is for Four (4) years in the first instance and takes effect retrospectively from Friday, 4th December, 2020.
The letter also states that as head of the legal Unit, he is expected to work closely with the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar in the administration of the Unit.
Accordingly, the Bursar and other Principal officers of the University are being informed to pay and accord him all necessary courtesies associated with the office.
